Do you have the recipe for the black bean burger? I tried a few online and haven't found one that I like - they either have too many ingredients that I'm not will to spend $ just to use a little and in no other recipes or the patties just fall apart.
We have a chain restaurants here called Brewsters and I really like their version of black bean burger.

I actually don’t. It’s never the same twice . I try to always start with onion, garlic and either peppers of carrots minced and cooked to remove any excess moisture. If I have the forethought I like to roast the garlic head first but usually forget. Then lots of my taco seasoning/ Mexican spices and then it’s all about the toppings.

Tonight I roasted up broccoli, brussel sprouts, onions, garlic and some russet potatoes with a garlic Cajun seasoning. Made mini black bean and corn patty’s using the leftovers from the burgers and the whole beans from a BB quesadilla I made for Dh earlier.

    Helped clean up the fridge

I made an Indian flavoured butternut squash puréed soup with a sweet potato added for thickness. I made it too spicy for me but Dh loved it.

I took the leftover spicy soup and blended a block of tofu at add to it. It helped thicken it and slightly mellow out the spice. Chopped the remaining broccoli as it was starting to look not so fresh. Huge iceberg salad with the leftover cucumber and a diced ambrosia apple on it.

I defrosted a lasagna I made a few weeks ago so that’s dinner tonight with an iceberg salad. Just need something other veggies for the salad.

The snow has started here so we are tucked in for day/night. Decided we should have a nice meal

Pulled steak from the freezer. Will make fresh asparagus and baked potatoes to go with it. Texted oldest DS to pop by on his way home to grab dinner ready to go. I know he will appreciate it

@cath007 I also pm'd 4 jars of the Alfredo sauce this morning and stored them away for a yummy quick meal in the future.

I pressure cooked up the meaty braised beef ribs about 45 minutes ago. These beauties are for tomorrow's joint b'day celebration
for DS and DH. There are other dishes being served too but these ribs are everyone's favourite, especially the 2 b'day boys!!

Last night was an odd night for dinner. All I wanted was pepper jelly tofu and spinach so that what I made. Dh had the leftover cream of Indian butternut squash soup and a wrap with jalapeño lemon spread.

Ended up making a lazy lasagna for dinner with a batch of the garden bolognese that I made today. Served with a salad.
