Good luck, @saundyl . My mother used to organize craft sales. I found that those craters who engaged people in conversation and showed an interest in their customers did really well. My mother wasn't the most talented crafter but she would do well because she really was a "people person." I'm sure you will do fine! Good for you for taking that step!

Finally! I was having issues trying to post the photo of my project.

As usual I had to go to the computer experts here ( young people!! ) ha ha
I placed the finished item in my scanner and I am blown away at how much it resembles the photo from the instruction grid that I worked from.
( yeah, I know it should but I always doubt my own handiwork )

Anyhow I was diligent and worked on this almost daily until I got it finished.
He is now housed in a fancy frame under glass and sits on top of my cherry wood tea cart.

I was sent this article and just had to share!
The artist ( crochet enthusiast extraordinaire! ) captured the features of her neighbours in life sized projects.
At first it looked a little creepy to me but standing next to their counterparts you can't help but be impressed.

I will apologize now for the crappy ( kind of ) picture that I snapped of my finished cross stitch. The flash always interferes with the glass and this digital camera is still ALL Greek to me....ugh!

But for the most part you can see the work. The adhesive mounting board was delivered by Purolater on Sunday, so I got it all pressed down and snugged in. I'm pretty pleased with the final work.
Oh yeah and that other picture was just a reorganizing I did of the spice rack....many had to be dumped as they were 3 yrs old or longer, ha ha .
I thought placing white copy paper inside each bottle would help create a background so the words of each spice on the sticky labels could be read easier.......I was right!
