OMG...a family friend of ours has a son maybe 20 yrs old...always had health issues since birth...anyways last year when my mom and hubby went for pilgrimage his sister told me to please ask them to pray for her brother...he needs a kidney and the donor list is huge. Well he got his surgery on Wednesday, they found a donor...THE SISTER. I just found out right now my friend was the donor. Such a selfless act, she did it and so far everyone is okay. I was in tears when her cousin just told me, it is such an amazing thing to do to give life to her younger brother. Anyways prayers they are all okay and recover fine

just remembered something dh told me at supper last nite .......he went to the cafeteria at work for "snackies" yesterday afternoon (he took his life in his hands tell me that! lol) any hows .........as he was walking to a vending machine, he saw a little kupper and his dad ... the little boy whispered something to his dad and then dh saw this little kupper toddling quickly to the vening to the machine and his dad cheering him on ... go ahead check it out! dh watched as the little kupper checked the change slot ... nothing, sadly the little boy returned to his dad ... dad got up to get his orderdh got his snackee and then slipped a quarter into the return slot ... as dh was walked by the dad, he quietly said, tell him to check it out again ... dh went around the corner and he could hear the kids excitment .... dh is still smiling! it takes so little to make a person happy ... give it a try!

Arggg you know guys I rarely get testy but this morning AGAIN, (4 am)
a darn semi driver woke me up; 2 days in a row. We're 2 minutes away
from the border one way and 2 minutes the other way to a weigh station/
rest stop where they could stop - but oh no - they stop their trucks just
outside our bedroom window. They sometimes stop for a few minutes,
idling (noisy) or they completely stop and start their engine when ready to
go again (even noisier). arggggg

the room is buzzing lately. i will just send a big hug to everyone.
i can't wait to see our latest star. i will tell everyone i knew her before she started in milan. its friday and its so beautiful out, spring is here. i am going to my first real garage sale, if you see a girl on the antique road show with bad hair,big butt and a clock/book screaming in a unladylike manner it is me. have a great weekend my points friends

run outside with a green creamy face mask (try mario badescu), with your hair in rollers, and a ratty housecoat, with a large object ( rolling pin, baseball bat, or even better--double barrel shotgun)and start screaming obseneties...

OMG - I am totally addicted to the new Maria Cookies. They are chocolate and sooo yummy. Has anyone esle tried them?

Anyone here live in Port Perry? I am watching the news and they are talking about the swine flu there and a few women have it and they feel it may have spread faster than they know as the women did not know for a few days that they even had it. Be careful everyone, it is not severe here but still we need to all be careful

If I thought any of that would help, I'd say 'come on down' lol -
actually the paint ball sounds like it would be a lot of fun!! I
also thought of screamin' at 'em but then I'd wake the sleeping
neighbours. Honestly, why do they (just a handfull of them)
stop after just crossing the border? Hubby & I discuss this -
he says paperwork; I say it's probably smuggling/no-no items -
regardless of the reasons, there are areas where they can
stop without it being at my window! Thanks - now I feel so
much better
