What are you thankful for today?

Amen, Skippy - cats have always given me peace, and fun too!
Today I'm most thankful my son had a half-day at school, so we had a special Chinese take-out lunch together, just our favourites.

I'm thankful for the call I just received saying our 10th grandchild is about to be born.

Even though I miss her to the moon & back, I have wonderful memories of my cherished Mother.

I'm thankful that I got the opportunity to be a Mom myself, and to have had a wonderful mom as a role model - now an angel looking down on us - thinking of her even more these past few days...

I had two job interviews last week, one at an art gallery, the other at a daycare. I found out this afternoon that a large local daycare, that is across the street from my house, hired me. I now have a good paying summer job, although my hours of employment are yet to be determined.

I am thankful that the packing for my move is going well & that I AM MOVING - away from the drugs in my apt. building....and to a rent geared to income.

I am thankful that they found my blatter tumour quickly and it can be removed before it becomes invasive. Surgery scheduled for June 8th.

So many things. That I have sunshine today (supposed to snow tomorrow), that all the call backs from my doctor re: my tests were little things, that my daughter is up during the day and getting on a good schedule, that my son still likes to be close by when he's sick for comfort as those days are numbered as he's nearly an adult and so thankful I got a dog for our family.

I am thankful I did some yardwork yesterday and can still move a little today.
