They say he is part malamute part Bouvier.

If he's that calm in & out of the shelter, he's a keeper.

Maybe it's the pic, but I don't see Bouvier in him. Mal, definitely. Maybe even hound? As long as he's that well behaved, it really doesn't matter.

We have 2 in my neighbourhood. I keep teasing the one owner that he should have got a grey dog, since the Westie (Angus) keeps lying down on the sidewalk in front of every single person he sees, begging for a tummy rub.

Sorry in french they say Bouvier Bernais for a Swiss mountain dog. That should give you a better picture. If you saw from the side you would see it.
