Morning twits!!
DH got one just last week from work and is not that thrilled. He hates the idea that now he doesn't have the excuse that he doesn't have his computer with him when they call.
That sucksI hope it doesn't happen to me next year.

We had the same issue with Kevin's old school. Most of the schools in the EMSB (english montreal school board) are former Catholic schools and that was put to an end with the reform in 1998 but they still openly practice prayer and it's against the law. We are not Catholic and I was pretty upset when my DD came home singing hymes. Freedom of religion also means no religion.
I hate schools in this province.

Patty - boy, you don't catch a break, do you? Is it the same school your son went to?
So if it's a public school, there should be a written school board policy (either local or provincial) regarding the religion issue, I would think...
Are there no more separate (Catholic) schools any longer? I know there are only a few provinces left who have them...
*Looked it up! In the Quebec education system there were separate Protestant and Catholic school boards until 1998 when they were replaced with linguistically based secular school systems, except on the Island of Montreal and in the Eastern Townships.
We still have them in Sask. - actually in part thanks to Quebec!
Actually there's one school division where the Catholic schools are designated 'public' because the majority of students go there, and the public students are in the 'separate' system.
