Patty, I'm in the same boat - must have been the aurora borealis last night! - I slept one hour during the night, got up at 1:30, then went and slept for another hour from 7-8 and now I'm just in a fog.

Maybe it's the weather? So humid here, we had 2 inches of rain since yesterday. My body feels like I'm dragging around a ball and chain. Slept(sort of)horribly with Kiera in between us, she's a little furnace.

No, not the weather - because yesterday was the first relatively cool - and fairly humid-less day/night we have had in a week, even though it rained late afternoon! I usually have the fan on 3 at night, and use no covers - last night I had it on 1 and used a quilt.
Oh, well, I am usually used to sleeping three to four hours at a stretch at most, so just doing one hour was a bit of a shock. Staying up all night would have probably actually been better. I'll try do lots over the next few hours and see if I can sleep another hour this afternoon. If I don't, I'll fall asleep right after supper - and that will mess things up even more!

Hmm, I just chopped off the middle part of my nail while I was dicing some basil. I don't think I've ever done that in all my years. LOL It sure does sting. Maybe tired and cooking don't mix. I wonder who will get that morsel in the tomato sauce?
