The vending machines are working, so you can just grab lunch & do some chilling,
As we all know it's ever so hot out there & too hot for any sizzling grilling,
Gifts for all the lovely ladies & I haven't forgotten the guys,
Can't wait to see the official portrait of the men sporting Smart Canuck ties!!

Well Lynn, how did the ruffler go?

Phhht!!!! Wouldn't fit my maching without another attachment which Sears would "have to order"...so I had to hand-ruffle 120" of fabric to fit the 33" hem....and actually, it went very well!
I just took the aprons to our Fabricland to pick up a spool of thread I needed, and brought the aprons on the off-chance the gals who wanted to see them were there...WELL!!! You'd think they were looking at something quite amazing, lol....they gushed!! I'm going to try to remember to take a pic before I put them into the little retro patterned bags I bought....

WHAT a rush today, getting things together for your trip in the morning!!!!

And wee Jenny goes to the sitter this evening, which means I won't have her sleeping beside me, which will mean
I'll cry...... But I know she's going to have a blast playing with the poodle she met last week....they got on like gangbusters!!!

Gah! Tried to upload my apron pics into an album but all I got in the "Manage Attachments" are 4 "current attachments" with "Upload" near it, but when I hit that it tells me to choose a file to upload! I click on one, and it brings the pic up, and that's it!

I'm taking essentially the same course that I already took, again, just to get the certificate and a credential beside my name

(The first time I took it, a local college was offering it to select students at my high school, and my home school teacher, being a resource teacher at the school, got her hands on it first - it didn't leave me with a certificate, but I did get 1 or 2 credits for it..)

Hahaha, you and I are so much alike with our dogs. I cry like a baby when Marley is gone for more than a day. With the kids all gone now, she is my baby. I'll be so loney without her when we go to Florida in a few weeks. Marley is going to her groomers house, and there's always 4 or 5 of her furry friends to play with so after the first few days, she always enjoys herself though
