I am thankful to be able to start a new year today.

Today I am thankful for true friends. I am meeting a friend from high school that I have not seen for 13 years but it seems like it was only yesterday since we have a tight bond.

For everyone I hold so dear and close. Some of whom are no longer with us, but whose presence I feel all the time.
Even to SC and the kindness of strangers who share a laugh or two. I am going on 7 years cancer free............& keeping the faith.

For the smell of my sweet baby boy's neck as he drifted off to sleep tonight...sucking his thumb and being rocked by his mum

And for my other baby boy who turned 3 today and changed my life forever- I love you my Lukey-duke!

i am thankful that my medical problems will be dealt with in less then a week. That the sun came out today and it warmed up a bit. The children could play outside for an hour or so after school today.

I'm thankful for sweaters and sweats, which I'm sad I have to wear instead of shorts. And for a husband who is like a furnace I can cuddle to when I return, frozen, to bed in the early morning. It's just too darned cold! Grr!
