...Well, Andi...the Veni Vidi Vici will be my quote when we land safely..and I'd love to attribute it to the Italian I'm attempting to learn to speak (at least important phrases...lol)...the Alea iacta est might be more appropriate when I visit Caesar's cremation site...in his honour...it's almost as if I had known him (of course I never did, I'm not THAT old!)...but I believe he was a good man...as good a leader as was, in those days...

Oh, Andi..I think I've got him convinced that we NEED a new fur-baby! He told friends the other day, when they asked, that "we're in negotiations" ...which of course, means YES!
I'm really torn, though...a purebred is lovely, and I have a few in mind, but there are doggies in kennels at our SPCA that need homes, and I would love to find one there, but Hon, I absolutely cannot go into that place...it just makes me cry.I might have to trust my hubby to pick one out...I'm sure he'd do a good job and of course I'd love any doggie at all.

We also have a friend who's friend runs Pet Save here...I might just put an order in. We do want a small one this time. Even Papillon is trying to convince us to pick up a papillon from her dog's breeder...lol...But they just have a boy left, and we do want a girl.

See? Not so easy!!

For now. we're concentrating on our (first) honeymoon, and packing for the Sahara desert with it's absolutely frigid outside is NOT easy!

Just fine, Andi...glad to hear you and your 'critters' are well. We're packing for our upcoming trip (5 days!!) and of course, I'm totally stressed out. As usual. Before any trip, but particularly this one!

Aw, Andi...you're such a sweetie to be concerned. I appreciate your suggestions, and believe me, I'm trying to do my best with this (except for the lapse of judgement last night with the wine thing)...my DH wants me to go to emerg, but I just don't want to sit there for hours...for what? I want my doctor! He's incredible...but 'out of town' for now.

Andi...we had a wonderful time at the Packers' game!! I found myself with a beer in my hand at 9am....it just seemed the right thing to do at Lambeau! LOL!! What an exciting adventure, and an incredible 60th b'day present from my hubby!
