Your trip must have been amazing.... Years ago I went camping in Algonquin for 8 days & 7 nights... 12 of us... I rmember climbiong some tower and carving my initials in it... and then we stayed in the only cottage I saw while we were up there.

Actually when I finished my indoor chores I went over to my Moms and cleaned up her yard first..(the dogs and I visit quite often there so it is my duty .LOL)... then watched the games.. my poor sister.. I posted a pic of the clock I built in my photo album if you were interested in having a look

yes..as I should..especially before the promised rain..I was going to mention that I use to restore and refinish furniture for a antique shop..I have also reproduced some aniques..I know,,cheating..but I couldn't find the tall case clock that I wanted so when I repaired a customers (it came to me in about 4 boxes and was just like putting together a jig saw puzzle without the picture) but it was beautiful when it was done. I made two to the exact dimensions with 150 year old pine (old barn beams) even reproduced the face...it was fun.

I've only ever done winter camping once.. its great with someone to snuggle with.. Snoopy isn't much of a snuggler.. but Sadie..I'm working on her, lol
We go to Alleganys (Just south of Ellicotteville NY)ocassionally for New Years or March break..but that is in a cabin..nothing extravigant.. 4 walls a roof..and wood stove or, if we get one of the nice cabins.. gas heat..
most come with fridges and stoves too.. luxury at its best..
