    Last night after talking about poor Elijah both my DH and I reminisced about the early a.m. incident that occurred 25 yrs ago when I was at work delivering mail, and he ( the night shift exhausted babysitter ) woke up to discover our 2 yr old son was not in his bed! He found him 2 floors down in the basement with Vaseline smeared all over his hands, and holding an extension cord that was plugged in and believe it or not there was a bucket with water ( I think it was catching drips or something? ) that was nearby!! THAT was DH's wake up call, he never slept soundly ever again. He said he could not get any decipherable reason why our son went down stairs, ( 2 yr olds just do stuff! ) why the Vaseline and how on earth he managed to pull that long cord out from behind the wall?? We were so very lucky! We both said Geesh! he could have just have easily walked out the front door!
