I've heard a lot of people complain on the boards about the lag they experience receiving their coupons. are you getting all your other mail? maybe you can try e-mailing them, just to make sure your orders went through?

I didn't buy anything in VS today, just looked around, ooo'ed and ahh'ed and smelled all the body lotions and perfumes... I tried one of the body lotion samplers on my arm and absolutely love it. first words when I walked in the door this afternoon -- "hey babe, smell my arm!" will definitely be buying a bottle of that one day.

I absolutely would've invited you along if I wasn't waiting for a ride myself, and ended up running a little late at that. it was a madhouse! they're renovating the original la senza 'til mid oct in SQ1 and didn't have anything but lingerie. we went to erin mills and used our mystery cards (both $10) on some christmas gifts. thinking ahead, lol. finally checked out victoria secret too! gorgeous shop.

really random freebie alert: walking the pup by the port credit go station earlier there was a stouffer's truck giving away free groceries! grabbed a box of skinny cow ice cream.

I picked up a free copy of "alive magazine" from hoopers pharmacy of saturday and it contained some coupons ($2 off probiotic gum, 2 x $2 off any renew life health product, $2 off detox kit). they also offered free emergen-c vitamin C samples to those who e-mail [email protected] and write "alive september 2010" in the subject line. there's also a coupon for a free 4 day sample of a detox tea that you can mail away for. & a really great one -- the first 50 people to call floradix at 1-888-436-6697 get a free 250mL bottle of their iron supplement. it's really great stuff and costly too. it's a liquid iron formula that doesn't taste the best but allows your body to absorb most of the mineral it needs. I just called and they still have some left! funny timing as I was just thinking of buying a bottle -- I've been feeling pretty sluggish lately.

I was just reading through one of our local papers, snap (http://www.snapsouthmississauga.com/, I grab mine at TD Canada) and saw a couple of coupons in there you might like! one of them is for montfort grillhouse (mmm, mediterranean food) and it's a B1G1 free lunch or dinner entree. there's also a coupon for a free kids meal at swiss chalet which we won't be using and great local notices like a huge book & cd sale at sheridan centre. just wanted to give you the heads up incase you don't often pick those papers up.

wow, what an unbelievable adjustment that must be, what a culture shock and especially to be without friends and fam. good for you, lan, I can't even imagine the feeling... especially as I was born here in canada and have lived here all my life. I'm glad you're now liking it! I always feel lucky to live here. even this area we live in is beautiful - I love how close we are to the lake, to parks and trails, to the busy lakeshore, there's a lot of nightlife, festivals! it's the perfect balance of a little city, I think.

wow, pine ave! I walk the pup along that street almost everyday. we take that back path from JC saddington, up through the park and to lakeshore one way or another. that's such a funny coincidence, we're so close! we're likely to have passed each other many times.

I live just over the bridge, right by the go station. I'll definitely be in touch with local deals I find. I've come across quite a few in the past but haven't posted them publically because I didn't figure there'd be much response. the shufflefest is coming up!
