Thanks so much for the anniversary greetings!
Today will be hot out - much like the day we got married! Gosh it was SO hot in church - really hard to 'daintily' wipe sweat off the face, lol! Rest of the day was fine, in places with a/c.
Amazing to believe how quickly 25 years have gone by - though it's wonderful, of course!
Hope everyone has a great day!

Good Morning Everyone,
Natalka Happy Anniversary.
Nancy I find dealing with medical and health issues to be extremely frustrating. I am lucky to have a great doctor who listens to me but when I have to go and see specialist or have tests done I find it can get quite frustrating considering I never seem to have anything straight forward so most of the time I just frustrate them and they give up on me.
Thank you everyone for the advise, not sure I can really say I am feeling better today. I have not responded to the message yet as I have no idea what to say, right now I feel not responding is best as to not say too much.
Lizzie no i do not have any hobbies really, at this point most people tell me I have settled down without getting married or having kids. But in all honesty finding time is difficult although I always make time for other people. Between work and home I really feel as though I have no free time, as I have mentioned before I do every time daily to keep on top of my job plus I know my Dad likes to see it and he has helped me so much I kind of feel I owe it to him so to say (that does not sound right but wording is not always my strong suit), so many times he has helped me financially and all he asks is that we take a little extra at work. But than Mom feels I put in more effort at work than I do at home so to stop the fights I do everything I can at home even though it does not seem to be noticed. To be honest I would really like to get the house cleaned up so if I do meet someone I can invite them over without having to say ignore the mess.
I choose to try the online route to try to meet different guys than I normally would. Just saying this dating thing has never been my thing and even at 30 I do not have it down yet. Why oh Why can a guy not just fall into my backyard (but please not literally, we do have a local parachute school that well yeah we make the news often lately).2022 is going to be my year, the year I find organization in my life and the year I focus on myself,
follow along as tackle day to day life and whatever else 2021 throws at me:

Afternoon All,
Hoping everyone has a wonderful day.
After ds1's appointment I will be popping into WM to pm the $2.00 (1lbs) ground beef tubes that are on sale at GT, going to stock up as I got paid today and well our stock of ground beef is rapidly going down. It's seems to be the only cheap meat on sale these days....sigh....
With the new month beginning in 2 days just wondering is anyone is implementing or doing anything different in August to be more frugal or pay down debt, etc.....
Voting has opened for the August thread (see link in previous post).2019 is the year that we continue to save before we buy!!!

My plans for August is to enjoy the month while kids are off school. We have a camping trip planned so far. Get organizing the basement and garage and sell what we don't need to build the "crap sold jar". I am getting the kids ready for school and am mostly done. Just need the oldest to go shopping to get new shoes and backpack. And a few shirts if he is up for it. If not then he can wear what he has, not going to drag him kicking and screaming lol. Youngest just needs indoor shoes (if I could find his new ball hockey ones I just bought he can use those!!! I think he left them at school!) He doesn't need any clothes at all. Underwear and sock drawers are crammed full and I have tons new waiting to open the packages (Thanks Bargain shoppe close out) So just want to give his closet a quick clean up and see what I can weed out. So after writing this I realize I am prepared more then I thought for back to school.

I am really going to try and clean out the kitchen cupboards and see what we have to use up. Also still working on using up stuff in freezer (had to buy the whole chickens as that was a deal and we eat a lot of chicken. 8 whole chickens was cheaper then us going out for dinner so it was a steal and will do us a while)

Well I took my Mum in to see her family doc today-lucky that she is very nice. She was happy with my Mum's progress and tomorrow I will take her for bloodwork and on Thursday for a bone density test. Again I have little time to be out spending money-lol. Just eat at other people's houses. Looking forward to the house exchangers vacating our house on Thursday so I can get home and bring my Mum there too to complete her recovery.
Sadly a friends Mum fell and broke her hip on Sunday might as well. At least we can support them as best we can since we are 3 weeks ahead in the recovery process.Last edited by lizzie bargain; Tue, Jul 29th, 2014 at 04:41 PM.
