I have waited 4 weeks from mail in B.C. I live in Alberta and just last week I got an envie from a trade in Oct..... CP SUCKS...what sucks is when people ask you to resend in just 2 weeks which you do because no one wants a neg esp when they have more trades under their belt.... and then you have no way of knowing if they recieved both envies....

well you shouldn't be bullied like that you should let lites know you can't get a neg if you keep the communacation open I am still waiting for an envie from you from over a month ago but received your trade we did two weeks ago so it is hit and miss. But 2 weeks that really isn''t enough time

I'm waiting for a trade that I am hoping will arrive by Friday. If not, it will have been four weeks. My trade was received and feedback left one week later. I have kept the other trader updated in terms of letting her know the last two weeks that the envelope is still not here. I traded fairly generously....four permanent stamps for $18 in exchange for $18 in coupons. If I do not receive her end of the trade by early next week, what would be reasonable for me to do?

I would not resend after just 2 weeks, I KNOW mail is taking that long even within province lately

LOL I had a scale for my pups (birthweight etc) but decided to go buy a scale at the local head shop after reading this thread (the scale for the pups is a medical one and I don't want to be using it all the time since it's so old)! Well the guy said "anything special this is gonna be used for" I said "yeah coupon trains" he had no idea what I was talking about but told me I was buying one of the most accurate scales out there HAHA! I guess when your using it for it's intended purpose it's gotta be accurate?? I dunno, but at least there will be no more guessing with my trades!

Mom said "who knew we could keep our local d*p* shops in business by using and trading coupons!" haha!

For what it's worth, I've been having problems with my mail. My phone bill used to come a couple of weeks before it's due - it's now arriving up to 2 weeks after I should have paid it! Good thing I'm set up to pay by CC (which also used to come 3 weeks before payment, now I'm lucky if I get a few days to get myself organized to pay it).

Here I thought it was a conspiracy to get me to pay interest on my bills!

i didnt receive a trade since december 3rd..she promised to replace it two weeks ago..still nothing showed up..i pmed her and if i didnt get a response i will report it officially..she is a good trader, no negatives but she rarely comes to SC..i am so patient too taking into consideration CP and that she is in another province,is that a problem (being so patient??)

thats too long, lol... would ask her to kindly replace it...if she won't then it's up to you whether you leave her negative feedback or not...please pm me her name, I could have others who have pm'd me about her as well that you don't know about...that way i can see if this is an issue.

The mail does take forever I am a member of the alberta motor assocation and my membership was up in Nov 2010....i didnt receive my notice until the end of Jan 2011. Thankfully they still let me renew with no penalty.

What were the post marks ( dates ) on these envies ?

Were they really mailed that long back to you or is the sender just saying that ?

I have received envies with post marks ( dates ) from 2-3 days back & was told that they were mailed long back ..
