You guys need to lay off FallenPixels. Being a MOD is a crap job and she has taken it on anyway. Without MOD's this site dies, so show a little appreciation, and respect for another human being for doing a job few others would be bothered with.
I for one truly appreciate all the work that goes in to mediating these petty squabbles between "adults", and making sure we all have a place to call coupon home.

I explained the matter to the parties involved via PM, everyone else has had retaliatory ones removed, but this one is slightly different as it is factual.

So I have not made it clear that everyone can double rate a person. I do however feel that if a member receives their end but has to continually send theirs, that there should be some leeway in protecting that user too as we have had situations where people said they didnt get stuff that was sent by good traders numerous times (and in one case dropped off at their house), otherwise we will get into a situation where no one will leave feedback because they are waiting for the other user who is waiting for them.

I am sorry you are feeling unwelcome and not appreciated!!! *hugs* I know you have recently helped me out a TON! You, Peachykeen and Jezebel have really done a lot!!!! I had sent my end twice and it ended up being "lost" twice and I was out on a lot of coupons and a GC and still was given the negative! I am so thankful that Jezebel offered to help me out and take it directly to the users house!!

I am thankful you have taken on this job, although I am not really active right now ...I still read/watch for deals posted and without mods ....this forum like all others will not run smoothly and ppl will be scammed. Thanks for your time Pixels !!

There was never a 1st positive rating for this trade. i have only ever rated stretchthatdollar 2x the 1st was for a previous trade we did and had no issues with then i rated this one accordingly as amberlab suggested when i pm'd her

Sorry but I can't help but wonder why the neutral rating has to stay there; The user in question already gave Stretch a positive rating as they received her side of the trade, but now people are allowed to leave a second trade rating of neutral or negative when their side has not been received by the person they are rating??

That's like saying you & I have a trade, I receive your envie and give you a positive rating for it, but 2 months later after you have yet to receive my envie, and I 'claim' to have re-sent twice, I then give you a neutral because you keep complaining that you haven't received your end of the trade?

This could very well change everything about trade ratings as it's likely that others will begin doing this, and you will either be trying to clean up people's ratings because of it, or good traders will get screwed out of trains or trades because of ratings that should have never been allowed in the first place.

I realize that you are super busy right now, but steen33 should have not been allowed to give a neutral rating as a second rating to a trade that he/she already received & rated positively.

Yes stretch, but I imagine you wouldn't like to be publicly accused of "supposedly" keeping all those GCs and saying you didnt get them either - no proof either way

Either way, steen isnt trading until these trades are cleaned up

I'm having a problem with a trade. The trader has been on SC for 2 years and has a 100% positive trade rating of 240 right now. I can't remember the # when we traded.

On May 30 she PM'd and asked for 5x $10 Wagjag codes in exchange for a $20 gift certificate and after a bit of going back and forth we agreed to the trade. This was the first trade I ever did. I PM'd her the codes and my address.

On June 8 she PM'd me and asked for another 5x $10 Wagjag codes in exchange for another $20 gift certificate from the same restaurant. (There was only ever 1 of that gift certificate listed on her trade list.) On June 9 I got back to her and said I didn't receive the gift certificate yet and asked if she sent it? She insisted yes she sent it on May 30, our original trade date. I mentioned it would be nice if she left me a feedback score for the first codes she used, because I didn't have any yet. She advised me at that time that she had only used 3 of them and gave the other 2 away, and would leave me feedback when she'd used them all.

I had a VERY bad feeling at this point. If she hadn't used all the codes why on earth was she asking for more of them? And why refuse to leave me feedback after admitting she'd used 3? And how was she supposed to leave me feedback for all 5 if she's given 2 away? That makes no sense.

These codes were a coupon that came in our building's flyers inside a sealed envelope with a Toronto Star offer. You had to break the seal on the envelope and all the codes were different; there's no way any of these codes could have been "duds." I grabbed these flyers out of our recycle bin and opened each of those envelopes myself. I have used 26 of them myself with no problems, and have traded with another person on SC who also said her code worked, and gave a few to my sister who also had no problems with hers. Now the original trader never said they didn't work, nor did she complain in any way, but I'm just clarifying. And yes, I know nobody is obligated to leave me feedback. I'm just trying to give the whole story here.

On June 12 she PM's me again wanting to know if I got the gift certificate because she wanted more codes! I simply replied no, still waiting.

Then I left it 2 months.

On August 16 I finally PM'd her to advise I had never received the gift certificate and wasn't sure what to do at this point. I told her I figured it was lost in the mail because it has been so long. I noticed at the time I sent this PM she hadn't been online in about a week.

She was on SC yesterday, about 24 hours ago now, posting a new thread in the trades forum. She did not respond to my PM.

My question is, how long should I give her to respond to that PM? What does everyone think is reasonable? I get it that I'm not going to get my gift certificate, or I certainly really doubt it. The codes I gave her expire on August 31 and she certainly hasn't complained about them in any way but I'm worried if I leave her a negative she'll just turn around and say the codes didn't work.

Remember, this SCer has a 240 trade rating. Mine was 0 at the time and is only 5 now, so I know I have very little credibility compared to her. What should I do?

You can PM FallenPixels and give her the details. She can try reaching the user and if that doesn't work, leave a negative.
