    Thanks everyone for the well wishes/thoughts/prayers and good vibes. I just got home from the Hospital as they did keep me overnight. It turns out that I have a severe kidney infection which caused my sugars to spike, fever, etc. My blood glucose levels actually spiked to 27 in the hospital! They gave me some insulin, 4 Litres of IV and the best pain drip ever! Now I'm home and trying to relax. I need to see my Family Dr in the morning and get my prescription filled at some point today.

    Make sure you get lots of rest. Sugar spikes are not fun (been there, done that, to the extremes).
