LOL my mom was evil she was gonna name me Kim Mona...dad bless his heart wouldn't let her. Why she named me Kim I have no idea but named me just plain Kim no Kimberly and she choose Marie when dad vetoed Mona..lol said he didn't care but was not gonna be Mona, Thank you dad!
I like Kaiden and Makayla although Kylie and Kailee is cute. I also like Caleb. My sister went with the odd names...Chany Reon and Shaen Race but ended up adding Dwight in front of Shaen since he was born on my grandpa's birthday. They were going to call him Shaen but he hated it and insisted everyone call him Dwight (blah) but his choice. Tried to name my kids something different but ex mil and fil had a total fit over the name choices..became all out war, was ridiculous and ex caved. Tara was my 2nd choice no longer even remember what my first one was but they insisted on pronouncing it wrong. Jason I wanted to name Jace mil flipped said it was a (not a word I ever use) but fill in the blanks N..g.r name see can't even write such racist things). She was a huge bigot. Ended up really spoiling something that should of been a special time, picking names out. lol ended up forbidding ex from even telling them what we were naming them drove her nuts but gave in and shouldn't have but both the kids are happy with their names so guess it worked out well.

I ended up with Crystal - have no idea where she got this from. My mom wanted to call me Cody if I was a boy (eww). My middle name was named after my moms cousin who died when she was younger. My older brother Joseph John - Joseph after my grandfather and John after my great grandfather. My sister Samnntha Kathaleen - she got from some TV show back in the day LOL. My younger brother Matthew James - Matthew she just really liked and James after my dad.

I like the names:

Braden
Taylor
Logan
Keenan
Keegan

But I really dont think Ill be pushing that many out.

Crystal, seeing this list reminded me of when we were trying to name Tyler. Every single name on the list (with the exception of Makeila) was on our short list. How we ended up with Tyler? That's just what he looked like when he was born!!

Looks like it's going to be beautiful here today I have some more cleaning that needs to get done today in the basement. MIL is coming on Wednesday (well, she's back in Ontario on Wed, not sure when she's coming here). I am looking forward to this visit because I can finally get some rest!!! She told us that she would only stay with us on one condition: That I don't do anything. I don't know how well I'll be able to do that, but I'll certainly try my best. If I'm not busy, I'm not happy

I ended up calling my son Alexander James. Boring - yes but I didn't want him getting stuck with a short form name and getting teased about it. It's a masculine name that won't embarass him when he's older. I wanted to name him Gabriel James (James is his dad's name) but I was told by my family that Gabriel was tooo religious and considering I'm athiest, it isn't a good choice. whatever - it wasn't worth the fight.

If I had a girl I would have named her Kerah Morgan. I didn't know anyone with that name and still don't. It's different but not soo different that it's 'way out there'.

My name is just as boring as Alex's - Jody Ann. When I asked my mom why she named me that her reply was that she just liked it. There's no significance to it at all. But I end up with my name spelled Jodi, Jodie, Jode. The funniest one is when I get called Jodester.

Here's another suggestion.. one of the boys I used to babysit was named Treiten. How about Tristan?
