I am so glad that we picked up an a/c last night, so that I don't have to melt today.
Don't mention ac. Everywhere I go the ac is broken, at home, in my cousins car, at work, Hmpht.

We drove to two walmarts last night trying to find the window type, $87 works okay, not crazy cold in the house, just comfortable you know. We have a/c in our car, and when our apartment was crazy hot I was tempted to sleep in there.

That's all I have in my room. I was so looking forward to going to work last night to have the ac, only to find out it wasn't working.

Radio said it's supposed to be 34 humidex here. It's also graduation time at the college I work at which means that they crank the air to cool the gym. My office is freezing, i've been thinking of putting on my sweater and taking a walk outside to warm up.

Oh, gosh, people - it's FREEZING HERE!

It's currently 6 degrees, and it's almost 9 a.m. Our high today should get over 10!
My fingers are freezing as I'm sitting here typing, and I'm shivering....
Apparently we're going to have another week of this...

It is so hot here that yesterday,I couldn't take it anymore and got rid of most of my beard!
After my first posts today,I went to the basement to cool down and slept a few hours!
Always remember the What are you thankful for today? thread as there always is something to be thankful for.

no, not the beard! I can relate -- I've had dreadlocks for years and I'm thinking this will be the summer they meet their demise. for the sake of cooling down and... fitting helmets more comfortably on my head.

Cold, cold, and more cold. Oh, plus rain. Frost warnings every night, and the next few to come, so good thing I haven't put out annuals yet!

Forecast says we may hit teens by Tuesday!

I woke up to a light coating of snow outside, I planted my garden over the long weekend including bedding plants so all I can do is stare and shake my head. I guess I will be starting more seeds or buying more bedding plants.

Yesterday was cool and drizzly, now we have 2 days of thunder storms followed by another day of rain! Just checked my rain gauge and so for 30 mm!!! Yikes!!! My yard and gardens are drenched and underwater already! Not sure what it will be like once this is over!!! But thankful that we did not get the snow that Calgary did!!!
