Big drop in temperature here. We went from hot and humid to sweater weather. Dont need the A/C either. Nice to sleep with the windows open.

A bit of everything today, starting with a power outage around 7 a.m. ? Lasted roughly 15 minutes.
Then the punishing sun and heat arrived followed by intermittent torrential downpour(s).
It came down " wicked haad ". ( Boston accent? ...lol )
The noise was so loud, I was scared the hard rooftop of the gazebo might crack as it was getting pummeled.
And yet, with those 3-4 separate downpours spaced minutes apart the 2 spots where a nasty racoon used my gazebo roof as his toilet were still there!
What did he do? Crazy glue that in place?

Beautiful sunny day. A bit too humid for me for great for the rest of the family who all went to a camp ground for camping and swimming.

@Ciel21 , currently +13 but 23 for this afternoon. Our temps for this week is around mid 20's for the afternoon, the mornings are coolish, the afternoons warm & breezy and the evenings its back to pants and just right for sleeping with the window open and a breeze coming in from the ocean. We've been getting small amounts of rain here and there, we now have a water advisory ( not able to water plants, wash vehicles, etc) luckily the showers are enough to keep the plants and veggies going!

@rock lobster -are the herb gardens part of the Niagara Parks open? I was thrilled to see them in the TVO doc Tripping the Niagara this past spring. I've never seen them in person-we always did the Falls/parkway and walked Clifton Hill (but never rode the Maid of the Mist).

So many people are loving that $10 or $15 GO Transit weekend pass for smartphones to visit Niagara> I suggest you take the same offer and visit Mississauga or Toronto on the weekend.

Maybe the heat and the gazebo roof surface (plastic/metal?) fused the waste in place. Squirt a mixture of dish soap diluted in water-it might slide the mess right off. Seems we have our own waste team working near the back sidewalk and near grass area (almost stepped in it today). I'm seeing big piles of mess where there weren't any a few days ago. I think they are still eating mulberries, it's that dark.

Sunny and hot with a little cool breeze. Some washing on the line dried faster than the rest of the items.
@rock lobster Awww, you could see Nordstrom/Nordstrom Rack, Ripley's Aquarium, Toronto Public Libraries, Port Credit (the nearby Lakeshore Rd district is very walkable-seems very 70s) plus there's the boat area near the river, CN Tower (I'm sure you can see it on a clear day from Niagara's side of Lake Ontario), the Loblaws Queens Quay (with a full Joe Fresh store on the lower level)...(mild envy here as I'm not near the Hamilton GO).
