I'm not around winnipeg, but the food bank should, you can also phone around to some larger churches, some of them run their own programs and would offer reciepts, if they don't they may know of a church that does.

Hey sniper. Thanks!! I tried our local food bank, and they only give receipts if a company is donating pallets of stuff. I'm not quite there yet I actually attend one of the larger churches in the 'Peg and so far we don't have anything like that, but maybe I'll ask around the staff and see if they know of anything! I hadn't really thought of that, so thanks!!

Alert on The Herbal Essence

Careful when you pick off the shelves. There are bottles that look exactly the same but are different sizes: 300 ml and 335 ml.

Only the 300 ml count. Luckily the cashier noticed they weren't ringing up at the same price after the AirMiles price reduction.

Both are priced at $4.99 but only the 300 ml drops to $2.99 with your Safeway card.

Have 350 coming from last week and will likely pick up 700+ this week. Maybe even over 1,000. Added 12 shampoo to the 35 boxes of Eggos = 320AMs. Will buy at least 15 for me and use the $5 coupon from the Entertainment Book. Tax included 15 = $50.25 - $5 coupon = $45.25 and gets 400AMs worth $56 = 124% gain and you still have the product.

Donate the $45.25 worth to charity for the receipt and you'd reduce your taxes from $13.13 to $19.91.

So if you've donated over $200 this year your actual cost is $45.25 - $19.91 = $25.34 and you get $56 worth of AirMiles.

If you're under $200 it's $45.25 - $13.13 = $$32.12 and you get $56 in AMs.

They are addictive! LOL!

Phoned Safeway this morning, got a very polite CSR. I gather a lot of people have been phoning in on this one. I didn't have receipt, just the dates from my account. "No problem," she said, "I'll research it for you."
