I've had a problem with seafood since I had my second child, I can eat shrimp as in cold shrimp rings but heated up it makes me gag. No idea why.
Also I've never eaten snails, I can't bring myself to it.

hmm most meat makes me gag...I cant stand the smell of it cooking and I dont like the taste or red meat or pork...though I do eat a cheeseburger sometimes mainly because I am anemic and crave it but then it never tastes as good as I thought it would when I was craving it...
I also cant eat pizza pockets because there was a time when I was younger where I was really really sick but felt better so had two of them, it was the first real meal I had eaten in a few days then I went and threw up ughhh so now I cant even touch them without remembering how horrible that was

agreed I hate ketchup, yuck why did they ruin tomatoes like that?? mustard too though, but I like honey mustard and the dijon stuff although only very rarely that's what makes me hate fast food... A&W's Mozza burgers are great though no ketchup or mustard! I eat mayo on the weirdest things though, even my french fries and can't stand ranch dressing, guess ppl have a reason for thinking I am weird lol

I can't stand liver or tomato soup from a can...yeck....although I do enjoy pigs feet stew and blood pudding, but I am banned from eating it in my house because it makes everyone gag (the blood pudding)..as for the pigs feet stew, well I just tell them it's just normal stew..yummy!~

thanks for the reminder to never go to ur house for dinner yucky pigs feet stew

there is a local place that sells some pretty massive burgers...
the consist of 1/2 a loaf of french bread (the thicker wider kind) like 4 normal size burger patties, toms, lettuce, mushrooms, cheese, and onions... comes with a rather large side of fries as well (can get salad, soup, or poutine as well) all for $8.xx
its not impossible to eat, i have done it a few times, and its the closest place to eat with a child in tow to wear i live... and my step dad loves them, everytime he is at my place its like what are we having for lunch/ dinner, bob's sounds good lets go

Burgers make me gag...but don't get me wrong...I get cravings for one and still try to eat one but something about eating a pink burger when I was 11 put me off of them all thanks to food poisoning.
Lamb is just too fatty I grew up eating it and detest it highly.
Anything too close to the bone like ribs or chicken wings...just grosses me out.
Foie Gras...Goose Liver....do you know they feed these birds just to get them to get big livers?
Liver....something that filters the blood now I don't think its too healthy after if you imagined that was human one on your plate.
Headcheese...Blood pudding...these are suppose to be delicacies I don't find them too good to stomachLive, Love, Laugh

i think where this thread direction went to is interesting. the stuff people can't eat because of a bad experience is kind of neat when you think about it. example, once when i was sick with the flu, i drank really weak iced tea and i got better soon after. now getting better had nothing to do with drinking the ice tea but still, when i'm sick i will make myself some watered down ice tea.
and on the opposite side of that, i can no longer eat cherry tomatoes because i ate a rancid one when i was younger. logically i know that not all cherry tomatoes are rancid but i still can't bring myself to eat them because of my past experience.

I can't drink milk without some sort of sugar in it, I can eat it on my cereal it doesn't make me sick but just don't expect me to drink plain old milk. I remember my parent's fought me for about on hour once becayse I woudn't drink my milk I insisted it "tastes discusting" then they finally realized it was bad (never understood why we had to have milk for dinner everyday and they didn't??) But my older sister drank hers and they didn't believe me before since I always complained about it and never wanted to drink it.
Another one is I would much rather eat a plate full of veggies then eat my meat, now that I live on my own it's ok because I don't buy any kind of meat I don't like and I can cook it my way (not that my mom's not an amazing cook, just can't eat chiciken thighs or drumsticks, basically dark meat ewww)
