Pig Feet Stew. Yummy!! It must be the French in you! My mom made it often when I was young. She made a gravy with burnt flour that is fabulous. Patty now makes gravy with the burnt flour.

I also make burnt-flour gravy and it gets so many compliments!! I've also passed that method along to our DD.....
And, like Natalka, we also had jellied pig's feet...it was called *phoneticcaly...studenach (right, Natalka?)...I guess anything loaded with garlic can be yummy! I don't make it, however.....

there is a local place that sells some pretty massive burgers...

the consist of 1/2 a loaf of french bread (the thicker wider kind) like 4 normal size burger patties, toms, lettuce, mushrooms, cheese, and onions... comes with a rather large side of fries as well (can get salad, soup, or poutine as well) all for $8.xx[/COLOR]

its not impossible to eat, i have done it a few times, and its the closest place to eat with a child in tow to wear i live... and my step dad loves them, everytime he is at my place its like what are we having for lunch/ dinner, bob's sounds good lets go

HAHA!! That's the Bob Burger, isn't it?? MY hubby ordered it accidentally and then had to eat it, but he actually liked it..he just couldn't finish the fries on the side..he's never ordered it again though..lol

Well the pigs feet stew is actually pork hock stew, but I guess that's just a prettier name for it, lol! Trust me, it's a French-Canadian thing and I only make it like 2 times a year...I would tell you if you were eating here, I've only ever made it for my family..as a matter of fact, Mom made it for DH last night, but I told him as usual it was just meatballs and gravy, cause thats pretty much how she makes it..lol

Yup, studenetz - (we lovingly called it 'pork jello!) my mom used pigs' feet and hocks, I just have used the hocks. Traditionally, the head of the pig was used, which is why it's known as 'headcheese'. And you're right about the garlic, loads of it!
When I want a 'taste' of it, our deli at Sobey's actually has a pretty decent garlic headcheese!

Okay my idea of gross food is probably anything served at the Heart Attack Grill http://www.heartattackgrill.com/

    As per wiki:

The Heart Attack Grill is a fast food hamburger restaurant in Chandler, Arizona,[1] United States. It has courted controversy by serving unashamedly high-calorie menu items with controversial names. The establishment is a hospital theme restaurant: waitresses ("nurses") take orders ("prescriptions") from the customers ("patients"). A tag is put on the patient's wrist showing which foods they ordered and a "doctor" examines the "patients" with a stethoscope.
The menu includes "Single", "Double", "Triple", and "Quadruple Bypass" hamburgers,[2] ranging from 0.5 to 2 lb (0.23 to 0.91 kg) of beef (up to about 8000 calories), "Flatliner Fries" (cooked in pure lard), unfiltered cigarettes, beer and liquor, and soft drinks such as Jolt cola and Mexican Coke made with real sugar.[3] Customers over 350 lb (160 kg) in weight eat for free if they weigh in with a doctor or nurse before each burger. Beverages and to-go orders are excluded and sharing food is also not allowed for the free food deal.[4]
