Tonight I am eating leftover "Turk Du Soleil" thai turkey burgers ...I got the recipe from (Mel) HOWCOOL (SC'er for those who don't know her) and they were soooo delish!
Even my 9 year old son who NEVER eats anything with "green bits" in them (cilantro, green onions, etc..) ate 2!
MMmm thanks Mel!

When my husband came home, I told him the kitchen melted because it was too hot - 32 degrees - so I couldn't cook. Wow, melted, he chortled!
So we had takeout - with lots left for tomorrow. It was like a smorg, lol - I had Greek salad, fries and gravy, honey garlic ribs; schnitzel, spaetzel, saurkraut and a smokie. Just bits and pieces of each of those!

MMMmmm perogies!! Mind you, that's one food item you NEVER want to get sick with, so watch the wolfing-down, Countess!
I'm puzzled as to what to do for supper. Only me and my husband - so it could be a combo of leftovers and something made from a frozen pack -- or, I'm not sure... With it this hot, I don't want to be cooking a lot.

Quickie meal tonight as we were out all day shopping and to a movie. So it's M&M chicken nuggets, mushroom rice and cream corn for supper.

Spent all day shopping. So I broke down and bought a Delissio All Dressed Garlic Bread pizza....*heaven*. The boys are having theirs with a side of kiwi fruit, while I am enjoying a super-jumbo sized pepsi slurpee spiked with Malibu rum...mmmm.

Used www.grocerygateway.com so have lots of great stuff to make this week (highly recommend the site and only $9.95 shipping as soon as the next day)
Think about it, for $9.95 (grocery prices are all fairly comparable to stores), you don't have to get ready, drive or take whatever transportation to the grocery store, no grocery cart to lug around, load and unload then put cart back, no unloading groceries in vehicle and unloading them in your home (Great for winter or rainy days), no gas or risk of accidents while driving there and back ect. and better for the environment to keep cars off the road which is one of their goals), no plastic bags and they take back the empty boxes if you'd like when you get another delivery.
I found out about it through Canada Post when we had our mail forwarded from a recent move and CP mailed us a Smart Moves catalogue and within it was a Grocery Gateway pamplet with a $20 off code from a minimum $45 order! Also, when you register on their site you automatically receive $5 off your 1st order so i really got $25 off my 1st order with a minimum $45 order, which covered the $9.95 delievery fee Plus more!
There is a 100% Satisfaction Guarantee as well where, if you're not fully satisfied with all of your items you will get a credit.
All food is from Longo's.
I highly recommend them!!!!
We used them twice this week, lol.
For dinner tonight we had a "Breakfast dinner", breakfast sausage, Malt toast, Home fries and eggs ;P

http://www.swagbucks.com/refer/FreebieChick
