It was fantastic last night, looked to be a sold out show, didn't even see scalpers lol!
Anyways.... Heres my traumatic experience.
I had to go to the ladies room (too much water) after Jason Derulo played so I go in the stall, set it all up for sitting and just sit. Girl next to me goes in the stall and slams the door really hard (for no reason) all of a sudden my life flashed before my eyes......
A freaking huge florescent light cover came flying down hit me in the head and cut my hip and leg, left a huge 4x4 gash! There was blood everywhere. So I'm a baby and start crying go out and wash the blood off my hands and find my friend, whos like omg whats wrong. We talked to security and just to get 4 bandaids they had to call the first aid medics.
Its pretty sore now but the bandaids stopped the bleeding.
Anyways what are the freaking odds. This thread is currently associated with: N/A

Contact the venue itself and tell them what happened. Because medics saw you they would have had to write up a report about the incident, so there is record that yes you were hurt. Who knows they may compensate you, with some free tickets next time

they did do an accident report, took down my name documented what happened etc. Im too shy to ask for compensation. It def scared the crappers out of me!

oh my gosh, I am sure I would have cried too Sally! But if you are too shy to ask for compensation in person, perhaps a letter or an email to the venue management asking for a couple of tickets as compensation, explaining after you were hurt, it took the fun out of your evening and just tell them it would be nice to be able to come back another time (of course it wouldn't be for the BEP) would be merited...The worse that can happen is they say "NO", but at least you tried...and if they say YES, that's a bonus, right?

I wouldn't ask for anything I would just write out my experience or call and say what can you do about this?
see what they offer they may just say sorry and that's totally fine too

Ah! Glad you're okay. I would write to the venue about the incident because others could be hurt in the future just like you or even worse. You could also get some tickets to an upcoming event or compensation.
Hope you heal well! I got a small gash on my leg a couple weeks ago and Ima just let you know that polysporin and bandaids are a work of god in my opinionPoly really helps healing and prevents infection. Your cut sounds pretty big but if there are waterproof bandaids they'll be great when taking a shower (just don't press them on too hard often because they WILL rip off your skin- lesson learned).

I am def emailing them, just so they know its a hazard, i'm not asking for anything but it sure would be nice since I was pretty shook up for the rest of the night.
They do have a report on it with my name and phone etc.
