One of the BEST things about Saskatchewan - we stay on the same time all year round! YAY!!! We are on Central Standard Time year round - even though geographically a lot of the province is in a Mountain Time zone, a decision had to be made to have one zone.

Don't even get me started! I think it's one of the most stupid things ever invented. Puts everyone off schedule for a day, mixes everyone up.
More daylight in the morning? More daylight in the evening? WTH CARES? There's still 24 hours in the day, and they're still divided the same between light and dark.

The first couple of weeks are so depressing. Dark at 4:30 YUCK! My gran used to say, it comes light again after Christmas of course she was right because it's near the equinox but I used to think she had some magical power to know that.

lol I love it!! the extra hour we will soon be getting is amazing! (I just like sleeping in) and although I dread turning the clocks back it's really never that hard to get used to. But my school schedule is usually all over the place and I've done a lot of shift work so I learnt to easily adjust and sleep when I need to then wake up when I need to. this summer we went from day shift to night shift every 2 weeks.. plus they were 12 hours shifts.... I don't know how I would do it for 20+ years but for the summer I actually enjoyed it.

Sleeping in is okay.....If you can sleep in. I still wake up at the same time and so nothing is gained.
