Hey NS--looks like the 31 cartridges are around $20, 41 around $25 & 51 around $35. Higher numbers, more pages it prints. We have found in our office that the cartridges that come with the printer initially run out of ink a lot faster than the replacement ones.

Why not go to the kiosks in the mall that refil them? They are much cheaper otherwise you spending more for cartridges than the damn printer cost you

jet? really? actually i think that happened last printer i bought..

oh and if you refill them, they don't last nearly as long. i think it's because they are basically watering down the ink that's left. cause they told me there wasn't enuf to "prime". when my cartridge dried out from another printer i had.

ugh. that was one expensive calendar.

You are right about the refills, don't last near as long. We have been banned from using the refills in our office as one of them leaked & messed up a brand new printer. Those prices are from Walmart's website & that's using American dollars, don't know the exchange for Canadian money.

As for printer ink prices, I think they are all 'ugh'. Mine has been giving me the low ink/out of ink error for two months now.

NS I would just buy a new printer..lol..I did that too my dh burned out the ink on our last printer and the ink cost more then buying a new printer so bought one with scanner, etc. Still havent figured out the scanner though..oh well
