RQ so very sorry that is so tough for both you and the kids. Wish I had a fairy Godmother to send you who could wave her majic wand but unfortunately I seem to have misplaced her. Promise the kids something you know you'll be able to fulfill, something that they will really look forward to. I know it is a sad replacement for Christmas with presents and a big dinner. Will say my prayers for you and pray you get better soon and that your day and the kids day is filled with love and laughter huggggggs to you and the kids! Maybe put some promises for certain presents you plan to buy them in envelopes, things that you know you can get when you are on your feet again. Sorry only thing I can think of.
All i've managed to get done is the potato salad, omg I made enough for at least 20 people but plan to send a bunch home with kids. It came out so good without the adding some more of this and that just put in the perfect amounts the first time, so glad. Never did get to sleep last night so moving slow. Still trying to figure out if I need the Karo and cornstarch for the strawberry pie if I'm using the canned glaze instead of jello. If anyone knows please really need to get the pie done if not tonight in the morning early. DH is nagging me to lay down for awhile so I'm off to do so. Had a migraine last Christmas and he's so worried I'll have another if I don't get some rest. NOT going to happen won't let it.
Merry Christmas everyone!

Thanks Rose but I really don't think I will. I got all stressed out last Christmas cooking and worrying about everything coming out good and everything was great. lol wasted energy for sure and even if something should really blow lol I refuse to freak out about it
. Think I learned my lesson last year. Going to make the blueberry pie tonight and all that will be left is the glaze for the ham, cooking the ham which is a honey or something spiral ham my ds bought and is bringing. THen the deviled eggs and the strawberry pie. Even cut up the veggies today. Oh and the cranberries and they are so simple. Heck everything that is left is easy. Already hard boiled the eggs and have the sauce for the filling minus the yolks already mixed up. So everything is cool and refuse to get stressed out. Last year had to get up early to start things this year I can sleep in since the kds won't be here until around 11 with the ham and cranberries. Dh has to get up early to do the brisket and baked beans but lol I'm gonna be lazy. For a very nice change I already wrapped all the presents a couple weeks ago so my usual hurry up and get it done b4 its time to unwrap them is not an issue. Besides lol I absolutely refuse to have a migraine!!! Well refuse and this year I have meds I can take if a headache should happen to hit me.

oh PF he's so precious! Did you get to see him also or just the pic? That hair reminds me of my son Jace's at birth but your nephew has more. Jace's was as long but his was patchy. lmao he had long thick hair here and there but bald spots in other places, was hilarious although at the time I called my mom to tell her she had a new grandson and burst into tears! Told her MOM omg he looks just like his dad waaaaaaaaa! Loved my ex but lol he was sorta not bad looking but he had some bad features, like a hawk honking nose and poor Jace didn't but it looked big to me. lmao when my mom got there she looked at him and as usual with her tactless self said "he's beautiful Kim how could you think he looked like his dad" WIth his dad standing right there
. Thankfully his hair grew in the bald spots and he didn't look like that loser! My daughter was absolutely beautiful she had peaches and cream complexion without the blotchiness of so many newborns and lots of hair. Can't wait to see them tomorrow! Dang it seems like yesterday that they were born but lmao far from it she's 30 and he's 28 brats got to quit that shiatt making me feel darn old! Will be 49 in January but everyone tells me I don't look over 30 and most think that they have to be my stepkids lol its sad when you can't even make someone believe that your children are really yours! Had the oldest at 18 so wasn't that young
