Some places are better today, ribs and hip are still very sore so I haven't done much except sleep today took me hours to get thru just a few pages of posts, pretty much all I've done except to enter the words that have come up today. Going back to the dr tomorrow will agree to xrays on my ribs, that is the same hip that has been hurting so figure I just irritated it badly. Going to curl up in the recliner and watch a bit of tv and probably sleep. be back later

Thanks Rose will do that tomorrow lol eyes are barely open so don't want to mess anything up. Didn't keep down my pain meds earlier so wasn't able to sleep but hoping to take some soon, had some nausea medicine that is helping so should be able to get some rest soon. lmao wouldn't think I'd be tired as much as I"ve already slept today but am totally exhausted guess it's probably just the pain. How old is she & how solid is her obedience? Can she hold a sit stay?

Sounds like she knows to behave while you're watching, but needs a lesson in self-control. Put a long leash (15-20ft) on Kodyac as well as a regular leash. Get a helper to hold the end of the long leash preferably out of sight, while you walk her around on the short leash. Casually drop the leash & go to get the kitten. If she goes for the kitten, the helper tugs the end of the long leash. It should startle her - you're with the kitten, the leash is on the ground, who's tugging? What's going on?

It works great for dogs that like to take off if they see the leash dropped.

I've got a couple of other ideas if this doesn't do the trick. Let me know.

Are any of your pets acting a bit weird since your kitty died? Except for wanting to eat each other, I mean. Kodyac might be associating weird stress with the kitten. Also, are you sure she's not just trying to play (albeit roughly) with the kitten? Does she stare at the kitten, are her ears stiff, does she wag her tail? She might just be confused about how to deal with the kitten.

Well Kodyac is almost 2 years old. As for her obedience it is lacking big time. I have been trying to work with her. We got her almost a year ago from a friend who let her do whatever whenever, yep even CHASE CATS. Now Kodyac would leave Gomer alone but he was a big fat cat and he would pop her and let her know he was in no mood for her BS. She stares, she barks, she drolls, she does not blink, she growls, she does NOT wag her tail, she has short stubby floppy ears that do not ever move, I am sure I am leaving some stuff out. Its late and I am beat.. Prancer is driving Dasher crazy.. Because Gomer liked to play where Dasher well she does NOT like to, after a while she will give in and then smack Prancer aroound..


Lolcat so sorry I have had 2 of those pregancys I was 4 months along both times.. My 21 year old just has one in October she was 4 months along. I am here if you need to talk. Know that you are in my prayers.

Well to add more to my life I will be doing that 16 hour drive again in the next few days.. 21 year old and her baby are moving back home. ..Its late and I have to get some sleep so we can run errands tomorrow and hopefully take down the tree.
