i had a friend in highschool that would eat anything to gross us out. it's been years since then but sometimes when the old gang gets together we'll all say "hey, remember the time craig ate a tea bag?" highschool boys are gross.
to add to my list, i don't like mushrooms either. i just can't get over the fungus thing. . .

I don't eat eggs Benedict.
Firstly...I am allergic to eggs. Secondly, the only time I remember eating it was at Christmas one year and I spent the rest of the day throwing up.Help me out with Swagbucks and we can both earn gift cards and PayPal money

Those giant burgers loaded with whatever stuff - my husband would have no trouble downing something like that no problem. He just has 'hollow legs!'; the amount of food he can consume is phenomenal. Now, he's not a pig, he has no health problems. He's almost six feet tall, a steady 173 pounds (168 in summer), is lean and muscled.
The only thing is, he'd never do something like a restaurant challenge or an eating contest because he would never do something like that publicly. He just has a huge appetite, and always has ever since I have known him. I remember the first time we went to a restaurant, we ordered our meals, ate, then he was very embarassed to ask if I minded waiting while he had another meal. Freaked out the waitress, too.
As for the 'gross' meats and stuff shown/mentioned - remember a lot of things are cultural or ethnic. I grew up eating jellied pigs' feet and it's awesome! My parents ate blood sausage, and other delicacies such as that.
But as for the fried anything and everything, that's to me where it makes everything look more disgusting.

I can't eat an Arby's sandwich because I got really sick from having one when I was pregnant.

I can't stand lobster. I go to Red Lobster for the cheese buns, although I will order fish & chips (& take most of it home so I can eat more cheese buns, I'm addicted
). My dislike of lobster stems from a biology class in university where I had to dissect one.

This website "This is why you're fat" has some very interesting photos/descriptions. Actually, some of them aren't THAT bad...

frugaltea - I knew I could never eat rabbit after watching "Fatal Attraction" when she boiled Michael Douglas' family bunny.

I cannot eat rabbit either. When I was young my Godfather (originally a country boy) was raising rabbits for dinner. I accidently overheard him telling my parents that one of the rabbits they'd raised was in the stew & had a ham sandwich for dinner.
My Godfather was also the one who took me fishing. Once. That was when I discovered that the trout we caught was put in a bucket of water to keep him fresh for dinner, not for me to have as a pet.
There`s a reason I live in the city, where my meat is in tiny square packages that resemble no creature I know of.
