omg! that's insane! I'd be dialing the phone (with my good finger) right now to file a complaint and raise a stink. That is not acceptable at all!

I would complain until I'm blue in the face. That's SO dangerous, they're lucky it was only your finger, and didn't get even more serious than that!

i did now im waiting for them to call me back i thought something like this would be settled immediately guess not
thanx for the pic ideas as for the final destination movie couldn't have said it better myself
no kidding and to think that many people have this model in their kitchen and think about the kids if they were to use it oy! i will never buy anything by HB
i plan to do that with a well known brand something like this shouldn't have happened heck the shredder didn't even stop rotating with the lid off
i am thankful it didnt get more serious i could say i was blessed think about it its a rotating blade without a lid what if it flew off the rotator and came towards my neck eeeeek!
i think i should do that nothing like this has ever happened to me so i feel clueless and im in shock
i wonder too i hope it didnt cause it really hurt and in the 22 years of living i have never fainted before till this happened oy!

Gosh, that's awful. What size and model is it?
I have this one, haven't used it for anything other than slicing cucumbers and doing bread crumbs... It's the 14c big mouth one (reason I don't use it too much is because it's too big, but got it free from survey money...).
