i have a few extra boxes of kleenex, nat
think they both looked a tad nervous - who wouldn't?

catherine's ring was made from welsh gold - a gift from the queen,
and is very rare. apparently william doesn't wear jewellery,
(neither did my brothers till their wedding band)
so is his personal choice.

Teeny tiny bouquet, though... sweet William (of course!), lily of the valley, hyacinth, and myrtle.
As tradition dictates for royal weddings, the bride's bouquet contains a sprig of myrtle from the original myrtle bush planted by Queen Victoria at Osborne House, Isle of Wight in 1845.
But it also poignantly contains a sprig from a plant grown from the myrtle used in The Queen's wedding bouquet of 1947.


Miss Middleton chose her flowers for their significance to the Royal Family, the Middletons and the language of flowers.
Sweet William means gallantry, lily-of-the-valley means return of happiness, hyacinth symbolises constancy of love, while myrtle is the emblem of marriage and love.
There is also ivy for fidelity; marriage; wedded love; friendship and affection.

I was expecting a bigger bouquet for sure! Still so pretty though.

It must have been my expectation over Dianas one, now that was big LOL

and i think once again the bouquet will be placed on the
tomb of the unknown soldier, a tradition started by the
queen mom, in remembrance of her brother, killed in war.
