Thankful that the neighbour doggy decided to play with Lily dog (she gets cranky if the canine neighbours ignore her).

The birds who despite the cold, still sing praises to their maker.
Always remember the What are you thankful for today? thread as there always is something to be thankful for.

I am thankful that my sense of humour seems to remain in tact,
& I am also pretty thankful that we needent be exact,
I thankful for family & friends, of course that is a given,
& thankful for free spirits who know all about real livin',
Thankful for the dreamers who go big or just go home,
Thankful I never watch football, even under a dome,
I'm thankful that I am an OK cook, though I sometimes get complaints,
Thankful that the numbers sometimes come with paints,
Thankful for lor the times that I get to do major lollygagging,
& thankful that usually I keep it short when I resort to nagging,
Thankful for morning coffee to get myself into gear,
Thankful that most people really are sincere,
I am thankful for this & that & many random things,
& thankful to read the fine print, cause it always has some strings,
Thankfulness is a state of mind that will keep you grounded & content,
& be thankful if you do go slightly wrong, you can always just repent.

Thankful that I do not have the flu...*touches wood AGAIN*...and that my kids are already on the mend. There is no worse hell than trying to care for sick kids when you are sick yourself. Let's hope I continue to dodge this nasty one!

You and me both Hondamanic, I've been sick with this cold since Christmas! Thank God for Nyquil, and thank God none of my kids got it (littlest DS has a touch of it, but thankfully isnt feeling as poorly as I am).
Today I am thankful for my children again, I've been miserable the last 5 days (hopefully that is the worst of this cold), but they have been a welcomed source of laughter and the best company I can have (other than my trusty bottle of Nyquil). I am thankful they are as lively, and talkative and so much fun to be around. The average dog
is nicer
