I'm thankful that the SK Roughriders won the western final yesterday - it's great for the province to be hosting the Grey Cup in Regina, and to have the hometeam play on home turf!

It's going be kinda chilly out there, I really have no doubt.
Maybe you'll relax & let others finish up the raking,

Maybe you'll catch up on your sleep & hold that remote tight,
Maybe you'll go out & dance yourself long into the night,
Maybe you'll visit some friends, or fulfill family obligations,
Maybe you'll make your own reasons to share in celebrations,
Maybe you'll ignore the cons & just go with the pros,
Maybe you'll just be a sweetheart & buy your honey a rose,
Maybe you're gonna crank the tunes & even crack open a beer.
Maybe you'll even reflect that time goes faster with each passing year,
Maybe you'll just be low key & keep to a quiet roar,
Maybe you remember something you need & whip out to the store,
In a long winded sort of a way, it's weekend wishes for one & all,
& I know that many of you will be immersed in GreyCup footballs call,
To sports fans, movie buffs, book lovers & loggers,
Chocolate lovers, accountants & even all you joggers,
Do something that will make your weekend worth week-ending,

...that our DD sent us that site with the home she's staying at this week in Mexico (posted on the Chat thread) because I was so scared of her being there with one of her BFFs here, visiting her friend. It's pretty obvious I have nothing to be concerned about! LOL!!! The other gals are in their 40s, which is also a comfort....Gosh! Don't Moms worry, though??!
