Thankful for friends, new and old.
My brother passed away very suddenly a week ago at age 43 and my friends have rallied around me like I could have never imagined. They have been a huge support and helped me break down when I needed and laughed when I needed.

Getting over some sort of weird bug. Very grateful I have Lily dog helping me do chores. Also grateful that Quincy cat insists on entertaining us, although his singing is very off-key.

2 more weeks and I will be back in NFLD !! (catch some of the food fishery hopefully; all my cod from last year is almost gone, need to restock my freezer with lots of fresh cod fillets!!)

Thankful for a little free time to catch up on all the things I've neglected since last September...lol...which is a lot. And just plain thankful summer is here. I don't care that it's been a cooler than normal summer; I'm just so happy that it's not snowing and frigid.
