What are you thankful for today?

so this morning i woke up to my horror and found that the building turned off all the water and plumming for maintenence
even my cat was pissed, since he drinks from the tap
luckily, i had a spare bottle of water
to wash my face with
i had to do my business in the toilet and of course it doesn't flush
low and behold
the water and plumming turned on 10mins before i had to leave for work
and i got to flush the toilet
and wash my hands
and coincendently, i always kept a pitcher of water
in the fridge for emergancies like this
but yesterday, i decided not to
how freaky is that!!!!
just when i need fresh water the most

Thankful for my health, even though I take a small handful of meds every day for bp, thyroid and arthritis, its all under control. Even moreso, I am thankful for the health and well being of my children.

if not for FB i wouldn't have known my cousin and her family were safe and sound at the Boston marathon.

my family is huge, and she had many friends and family anxiously waiting to hear more details, but the fact that we knew she was ok was enough to hold us over until we were able to know more.

That I found a nice two-level, two bedroom apartment in our new town including a washer/dryer/dishwasher in a beautiful neighbourhood. Not only did I find a nice place but it includes heat, water, lights, parking all for $100 less per month than my max budget!

I am thankful. For all the blessings I have in my life (loving supportive spouse, children that mean the to me, the comforts of home) I am truly thankful.
