For the first time this season (yesterday) I thought "Okay, it's time to haul out the summer shorts!". Vancouver is having a late start to summer. I hope it lasts to November!

Today, sun poking barely in and out, just had a little drizzle enough to wet the street.

Today it's cooler, cloudy, may get some of the same as yesterday... ick!

So funny I was the last to post - we had bits of rain off and on, some hot and humid days - one big storm day a few days ago, from which we got some seepage in the basement.
Then this afternoon, out of the blue, huge storm, big rainfall, hail - and a tornado warning... thank goodness it didn't last long... and a tornado was spotted outside of the city, but didn't touch down.

You all know how hot and humid it always is here. My brother and his family are here for a visit, they got here last sunday. They came to see us and enjoy the beach. We got stuck with the tail end of hurricain Alex and it has been raining since they got here. Beach was no option all week. Today is sunny for the first time in a week!!!

Should go into mid-twenties, hopefully a day of sun, then the rain is supposed to come back.
Yesterday, a tornado touched down about two hours north of here, and unfortunately whipped through about 12 homes on a reserve - but amazingly, no one was hurt!

oo, Patty, that's hot 'n humid.
I guess ours isn't going to be hot til end of week - today's high is maybe 21, few days of 18, then Thurs 26, Fri 28. That's ok by me!

I'm gonna be near 40 degree's with the humidex today. No good sleepy for me tonight. I hate the heat
I think I'm the only one who likes the cold (not -45 with windchill) tho, no one likes that LOL

Trying to lay low so as to not get a migraine.
Drinking coffee as I believe it wards off migraines.
Despite heat and smog advisory, neighbour is mowing his lawn!
