This morning i made my basic white cake from scratch and then added some frozen red currants and some frozen rhubarb; topped it off with a strusel topping. Here is the result. You can see a piece is already missing!

Not truly baking, but LO and I made puffed wheat squares this morning. The twins are 9 days old.

Challah bread! The house smells amazing.
One with raisins and another with sesame seeds.
They were so light and fluffy!
I'm going to make pizza dough later today, for this weekend.

On Tuesday LO and I baked banana mini-chocolate chip muffins.
On Wednesday he helped me measure and stir waffle batter.
LO loves to "help mommy measure." He will talk about it for days.Help me out with Swagbucks and we can both earn gift cards and PayPal money

After working all day Friday I was up until 2am baking up a storm for the bake sale that I was having (along with the garage sale my parents were having). All the money raised was going to donated to S.A.I.N.T.S. Animal rescue in Mission BC http://www.saintsrescue.ca I made chocolate caramel pretzels, cinnamon candied almonds, spicy candied pecans,Rice Krispie squares, and 4 dozen chocolate cupcakes with chocolate icing and animal themed cakepops on top. I made sheep, pigs, roosters, bunnies, and puppies. I'm exhausted but I feel amazing at raising all that money for the animals

Natalka, I priced them at $3 each for a donation but most people donated more.

Two weeks in a row- homemade pizzas on the weekend!
The dough gets made (10 minutes in the Kitchen Aid mixer) a few days in advance to let it develop flavour.
I make vegan cheese for my BF and they always come out super crispy with a thin crust, thanks for my $10 pizza stone.Yum!!!
There's always left overs, 'cause we make ginormous pizzas!

Janetta, those look amazing! That crunch is killing me - I love a thin crispy crust Would you share your vegan cheese recipe? Btw, is that a GF crust? If so, would you share the recipe for that also?
I recently picked up some Daiya pizza (pretty good, but it's the only GF vegan pizza I've tried) and I have to say yours looks 10x better!

Thank you!
That vegan cheese is a work in progress, but it's made of blended cashews/water and nutritional yeast along with spices. To make it "solid", I add tapioca starch and agar powder! I'm going to test a recipe using oats instead of cashews. This recipe, but change the seasonings etc.-->>
The crust isn't gluten free- just water, yeast, flour, olive oil, salt and sugar.

Thanks for sharing, Janetta I've been wanting to try making vegan/nut cheese for a while.
Btw, I still use your pancake recipe - it's one of 2 recipes I fall back on. I tweak it a bit and these days I use GF flour as I'm trying to reduce the gluten in my diet.
But I would have trouble turning down a slice of your pizzas! lol
Thanks again!
