Good for you. That plan worked perfectly! It makes me so sad to think that he couldn't afford to bring anything for a pot luck...that's scary to think how little some people live on that spending $10 extra for food is not possible. Just wanted to share something that made me smile . On the long weekend we were invited to our neighbours BBQ, as were many in the neighborhood. The elderly gentleman across the street from me never attends and I found out it was because he can't afford to bring food like everyone else does.

So I bundled up the 2 Chapman's coupons I had left from a trade, put them in an envelope with his name and even added a stamp to have it mailed to his house.

Sure enough, for the first time in the 3 years my family has lived on this street he showed up at the party with 2 different ice cream treats for dessert . He looked so happy to be there and was just a joy to have around.

It made me feel wonderful and I wanted to share my secret coupon fairy moment with someone lol
