Pizza, pizza, pizza...not take out but store bought(which is fine by me!). Usually i make all our pizzas but dh and ds have gone away for a couple of days(Toronto look out!!) and dd and i are eating all the foods that we as a family normally can't/don't eat

So far today we've had REAL eggs, tin of bake beans(what can i say, i'm still looking for a decent veggie recipe thats close enough to the real thing and i miss them..its been 2 yrs people,2 yrs
)...snacked on chips..and then later its pizza

Am sure i'll pay for it tomorrow or the next day but heck, i'm not gonna worry about that now

The water was off in our building yesterday (for plumbing repairs) so we regarded that a perfect excuse to go out for supper. Brioche Cafe is a funky little place nearby that serves some of the best food in Vancouver but at about half the price you'd pay in other places.
I had the Seafood Salad of the Day special (top pic). That's a pile of local fresh crab meat on top of a heap of green beans, asparagus, snow peas, freshly sauteed garlic prawns and breaded jumbo scallops, all drizzled with a balsamic dressing. Hiding underneath were fresh strawberries, blackberries, cherries, grape tomatoes and chunks of feta cheese. The plate was so huge I only ate half and took the rest home for next day's lunch. $14.95
My other half had the Eggplant Parmigiana (bottom pic). Having lived in New York most of his life, he's a bit of a food snob but he says this beats any other Eggplant Parmigiana he's ever had hands down. $11.95
Best food, best prices!

torn between Thai Beef and noodles or Grilled Chicken BBQ Naan pizza for DH and I have no idea what to cook for me. I rarely cook 2 different meals (I'm veggie, he's meat-a-tarian), but he's craving meat.

We are staying home and probably having baked nachos with hamburger, green onion, cheese, salsa and sour cream.
