Thank you, Countess...Andi....you're right of course...I always said our Tammy would lead us to our new girl...For now, we're doing some travelling so it's not convenient. But I just know that this fall, when we settle down and stay inside more, I'll want a new friend. I showed my hubby the greyhound pics like the one above and he did a search for them but all he got were US sites....however, a BIG step forward for him!
Or....me, actually...
Of course...what do I see in today's paper?
Toy poodles!!! (another choice of mine)
And a baby girl pug!! (and yet another!)

Oh, how cute is he??!!! When he started twirling around I nearly
lost my coffee! LOL!!
I've petted a porcupine before...but he sure wasn't this friendly!!
Yes, definitely appropriate for our northern climate, but not quite
as cuddly as I'd like...but thank you!!!

Oh, Vee....I've had both and although many....ahem...here, would disagree with me, I love dogs the most!
They live so "in the moment"...everything, even a walk is pure joy for them. They want to be where you are (particularly Italian Greyhounds! LOL!)...they not only take all the lovin' you can give them, they return it in so many ways. It's true what people say: we sure can learn a lot about life from dogs, and I love this one:
A cat, after being scolded, goes about its business. A dog slinks off into a corner and pretends to be doing a serious self-reappraisal. ~Robert Brault.
There are many things I miss about our Tammy, but the one I miss the most is opening the door to the house and not seeing her face right there...her tail wagging her whole body, as if to say, "Oh, there you are! I've been so worried! I've missed you so much! Come! Let's play!!"....
Here are more sayings about dogs...

Have I convinced you, yet?
