just heard on the news that for a month if you buy something at walmart and it goes cheaper that month-you bring the flyer in after you have bought the item -walmart will give you the difference in a gift card-it was on hamilton news-12-think they said starting nov1/11

I heard it's currently two weeks, like the Gap. They just don't tell anyone. I can never keep my receipts for that long.

hubby works for them, he told me 1 month..he's going to work tonight and I'll ask him to confirm....and yes, even though he works for "them" I get hassled with my coupons...but then I love to pull my husband's 10% off card out as well....lol

+1 so true, I hate training the cashiers in their own policies. I just had a wm cashier who had "10 years of service" tell me they don't give overages, "this must be a new policy"

fyi for somthing similar at Superstore if you buy somthing and it goes on sale for cheaper within 10 days I think they will give you the difference back. (I found that out one year when I bought quick tax, and 2 days later it went 10$ cheaper! I was pissed and brought in my receipt and talked to the supervisor and she gave me the difference back )

cashiers are always needing training. I was giving some training at superstore today lol when my coupon exceeded the value of my item and they didn't want to let me use the coupons. I told them ahem, you just adjust the coupon. This was the supervisor! I mentioned seeing it in the coupon policy. She said she would be brushing up on their coupon policy.
