Aaarggh. I don't know which show is worse -- Extreme Couponing or Toddlers & Tiaras. They are both like a train wreck...can't look and can't look away! A combination of the two is downright scary!!!

I hate when Tv shows put couponers in a bad light and I find this show does this the best.

That was pretty awful. Those children are definitely outgoing and probably fun, but because of the pageants they seem to develop an obscene entitlement problem. I'm sure those kids will be a JOY once they reach their teenaged years!
As far as the coupon thing goes, she's not terrible, they didn't show her buying 100s of things of mustard because it'd be cheap even though her family won't eat it. She just showed in a way how her family was available to spend money on the kids pageants. Her stockpile looked no different than photos I've seen on here.

There is an even worse episode where one mom says 'the reason we had kids was so we could do pageants'.

Very scary show! I've seen 1 father give his child $100.00 to smile on stage and another where the parents stated that they wouldn't pay utility bills just to have money to go to pageants.

Okay I think I am obsessing about this thread!!! But unless she's feeding them dish soap and tin foil sandwhices I can't see how she saves $9000 a year. I guess she needs some type of justification. can you tell I have never seen an episode of this before. I am appalled. Okay I am not going to think about it anymore. I promise!!!!!

I agree she doesn't save $9000. It's just false economy. She just buys things she really wouldn't buy and buys them quantities she wouldn't really use to pretend she saves.I bought a pack of Danactive tonight for $0 after coupon and it's sale price was $4.99 but I wouldn't say I saved $5.00 except to explain how it's free because I wouldn't bought except for it being free.
