How long is reasonable to wait for a trade within Ontario (my province). I have been waiting for one for about 3 weeks already. I have confirmed with the person that it was mailed(?)
Thanks

3 weeks is pushing it ..I know CP screws up sometimes but for it to take 3 weeks + to reach within the same province is extremely rare ..not saying it doesn't happen but very very rare .
Generally it only happens if its lost , the address is ineligible or the postage is insufficient ..but a normal well addressed envelope with the proper postage usually never takes that long .

I also find that most people do not format their address correctly which means it cannot be machine read which can lead to delay.
Even when I give it to someone in the correct format they often rewrite it on the envelope the way they think it should be.
I think it would be helpful to have a sticky with the correct way to format addresses.

Unfortunately 2-3 weeks is not at all rare with Canada Post recently, even 2 day guaranteed XpressPost envelopes are taking too long, I have 3 currently I put claims in for because they took a week each, Toronto-Ottawa

CP is absolutely ridiculous lately. I was getting stuff in NO time before the holidays, and now it's taking forever for anything to arrive!
