David Gest Has Died; Ex-Husband Of Liza Minnelli Found Dead In London Hotel

He was 62.

Gest, best known for his short-lived marriage to Cabaret star Liza Minnelli, was ironically preparing to embark on a tour of the U.K. to be called "David Gest Is Not Dead But Alive With Soul."

Gest, who in recent years parlayed his notoriety into appearances on numerous reality shows, had been appearing in Britain's celebrity version of Big Brother in January until leaving the Big Brother house two weeks later for undisclosed medical reasons.

(I had watched that season of BB UK, and found him to be quite a likeable man.)

Just heard this myself.......RIP Doris....

Doris Roberts, who delighted audiences as the meddling mother next door on Everybody Loves Raymond, has died. She was 90.
Roberts won Emmys for best supporting actress in a comedy for playing Marie Barone, the mother of Ray Romano's sportswriter character, in 2001, 2002, 2003 and 2005. She had won another Emmy in 1983 for a stint on St. Elsewhere.

She had a history of drug use and mental health issues. May she find the peace now that she never did in life

TMZ is reporting that Prince is dead at the age of 57.
The musician's body was found at his Paisley Park estate in Minnesota on Thursday, according to the site, after police were called there about a death.
Last week, Prince was reportedly hospitalized after an emergency plane landing because of illness. Arep told TMZ that Prince "has been fighting the flu for several weeks."
According to the AP, the local Carver County chief sheriff's deputy says that officials are witholding information about the identity of the deceased person until next of kin has been notified. A news release will come afterward.
