Well I always have something in the oven, cook kinda in bulk to last 2-3 days, including lunches going to work for my guys and for dinners here as well.
The last of the 15 lb. turkey I stuffed ( yummy real stuffing) and roasted on Thurs night is being used right now in 3 turkey pot pies ( they are smelling real good right now)
I threw about 3/4 of a large roast pan full of those shorter style ribs in the oven last night while I was on here horsing around. Then I put a jar of the VH honey garlic sauce over them when the meat was just starting to fall away from the bone.
I have to get some cheap broccoli today, I know I saw it in one of the fylers for .79 or .99 We need more veggies to go with all that protein. lol
Enjoy your Sunday SC cooks!!

Glazed doughnuts, and not the kind that are soaked in grease. I have a recipe that allows you to bake them, and they are delicious!! I use my bread machine to do the dough and I use Alton Browns glaze recipe. The only really hard part if at all is the rolling and cutting, but it is well worth it.Don't make them often though, only 2 of us here.

EthansBaba - hi! Though I love homemade doughnuts, fried the way most Babas make them, I'd love to try baked ones.
Can you leave the recipe here or PM me with it?
Thanks!

Chocolate cookies dipped in chocolate and banana bread, which didn't turn out very good, not enough flour so it didn't rise like it was supposed to. Oh well, guess we all have those days when nothing turns out the way it was supposed to.

That's awesome, I loved baking and cooking with my son when he was little. Then he went through a period where he didn't want to anymore....
