Good morning everyone. We have a cloudy/rainy/sunny day here. When i woke up it was just cloudy, when i went out to drop off my son it was drizzling, when i came back home it was rainy heavily and after just ten minutes the rain has stopped and the sun is shinning. Lol.

Yesterday i made beef curry and boiled rice. So today is leftover day.

Nothing much today except for usual cleaning, fold/iron clothes, playing with my daughter, spending time chatting with you, waiting for sdm personalized coupons etc.

....are MUCH better than cold and snowy days!!!
The rains fall and those wonderful little drops beat down and kill those stupid white flakes.
And that's a good thing.

We're pretty much gearing up for another round of snow too. Although every time we look at the forecast, it changes. From 30+ cm on Tues to 5-10 cm both Mon and Tues. I feel like taking a flame thrower to clear off the driveway.

Hello folks - I had my whole side of the family here today for "Christmas." We hadn't been able to get together due to poor health and previous commitments from Christmas til now - So "Santa" decorated (with a tiny Christmas tree) and Santa Hat stockings and we traded Christmas/birthday/and Valentine's gifts. I have so much chocolate, I could start a shop! It was LOVELY to see them all! I really miss seeing my nephews more than I do. We laughed and reminisced (it was 16 years today that our dad passed away and now I'm the matriarch as our mum has also gone.)
Where does the time go? But we had two young men here who are a delight and growing like weeds! Both my brothers, my sister-in-law and my dh rounded out the group. Lucky 7!
Well, we were above 0 today and the landscape is shrinking. BUT it's getting slippery along the path that I had shovelled for the dogs. When it gets cold tomorrow, I think we'd be better off tromping through the snow than trying to negotiate the ice.
I'm hoping that I can get to church tomorrow. I haven't been in a couple of weeks.
I've been asked to speak at a friend/colleague's retirement which will come up in June. I feel very honoured. I was her vice-principal when we met, and we've been friends ever since. She is an AMAZING educator! I'll have to think long and hard about this one.

Wow...more snow for you people down south?? Stay safe for heaven's sake!
I was outside in the back yard with Jenny yesterday and poked my cane into the snow on our deck, and honestly, it barely registered a foot deep!!! It's going to melt so quickly this year!!!!!

Hubby hasn't used his snowblower but once this year, and that was our first snowfall...I'm liking this!!!!
