Have a great weekend at the camp, Lynn! Fri - Tues - then "BING" it's Wednesday and you won't even have THOUGHT about it for 5 days.

I've cancelled my trip plans for this weekend - except to go and do the wedding out of town. I was getting nervous about the driving with my eyes not yet great and it would have meant night driving.

Happy BIRTHDAY to your dh!!! I've sent father's day cards out to my db and Art's SIL and that's it for now.

Both the doggies and their mummy had hair cuts today! Everyone looks spiffy!

I ran into some "stinging nettle" while pulling up some some weeds earlier - good thing I had gloves on! I wonder if the dogs are affected by it?

Well - I'm off for "last walk of the night" with the pooches!

Hicks - I wasn't aware that your doggie wasn't well, so glad s/he is on the road to recovery. It's so worrisome and they can't "tell" you what's bothering them.

Avon - thank you; he is doing better, but it's been a long 2 1/2 weeks.
Enjoy the wedding. I'm not sure what you had done with ur eyes, but since I've had lens implants done, I try to limit my night driving as well.

Good morning, everyone!
It's time for my hubby to load up the van for our long weekend at camp...I think we've thought of everything, but the small town of Little Current is just a few minutes drive, and has a ValuMart, so all's good. And a huge antique/junk store our DD and I find time to wander around in...

Avon, good call re night driving until your eyes improve; I can't night-drive with my double vision so I know how scary and dangerous it can be...better safe than sorry, as they say. Enjoy the wedding, I hope everything goes well, but knowing you, they're in very good hands. And thank you, I hope I can forget about my surgery for a while; my tummy's in a knot when I think about it.

Hicks, do your best keeping Walks in line; honestly, it's a full-time job......

My prayers this morning are with the family and friends of the pastor, Senator Pickney, and parishioners, those killed in cold blood in the church in Charleston, S. Carolina. I hope they find the evil monster who killed them and bring him to justice....which can be immediate and save the state a trial and the care and feeding of a monster!

Hello Walks! and Hicks and others! Hot and humid here. I've been researching stinging nettles. It seems the dogs should be safe, but I should let the neighbour behind the fence where I found them that they may have some, because they have 2 little girls who like to "explore" under the cedars there.
I saw the dr. today and she is going to do some blood tests to check out my sugar levels but doesn't seem worried. She's also quite sure I'm not showing signs of losing memory - just normal or slightly abnormal memory loss as I age.
We're going to tweak a couple of my meds to see if that helps. Try to fix one thing and it causes another, it seems.

Lynn, I know you can't hear me but I hope you have a WONDERFUL weekend!

Well, no sleep for me yet - I did stay in bed for a while just to rest my feet and back, listened to talk radio - but sleep just would not come.
So I got up, made coffee, catching up on some tv shows online, and browsing the interwebs.
