I just heard, on, CTV, that Jared Fogle is to plead guilty to child charges today......so terribly disgusted. No wonder Subway dumped him so quickly!

Anyway! Hubby's flying to TO today to Women's College Hospital for yet another ore-cancerous check-up, and I have an ultrasound to drive to, but it's supposed to thunder storm, so he suggested I take a cab....ugh....since I'm not so great driving in the rain even though my double-vision is more or Kessler corrected. So....busy day!!

LoL, Ryan Kesler is an NHL Player. He's played for the Vancouver Canucks for a number a years. He was trades last season and played in Anaheim, for the Ducks.

I've decided to drive. I had to call our DD just now..."Um....after I parked, and have had my ultra-sound, and have that little ticket-thingy...how to do get out?!! There's no "guy" there to give my money to!" (panic).....
"Inside,", she says patiently, "there's a ticket machine where you pay." (I'm sure she's rolling her eyes at this point...but nicely, lol...
So.
Armed with information and ready to go!
I can do this! All by myself. Hah!

Thinking about you Lynn! I have to launch myself into the day. Woke up early to phone our step-daughter to wish her happy birthday. Could get through. (To many friends and family doing the same, I guess) Had a headache but was hoping it would go away with more sleep. No go -so I am waiting for the migraine pill to do it's thing.

Hahaha....Hicks, I used to sing that song to myself whenever I had to do anything scary...you know...like giving birth! I recall my Hubby driving us to the hospital when I was in labour....being pregnant was fun, but that?! I just wanted someone else to do that part! {{{{snicker...snork!}}}}

Avon...jeepers, you've been doing so well keeping those migraines away with your new diet...I wonder what happened. I hope it's subsided by now, Sweetheart.

Well, all done with my ultrasound, home safe and sound...both our DD and my Hubby checked up on me, so all's good. Gosh he said it's so stifling humid in Toronto...I said it's hot and humid here, too, but we have a nice breeze blowing through which tempers it...Stay hydrated, everyone down there!!

I didn't post in the wee hours as I usually do, but now it seems so late!
I was up all night, but slept several hours late morn, early aft - so just finished a late lunch and am trying to catch up everywhere.

In our family, the 19th is celebration day! - anniversary of my second oldest sister and her husband - 43 years; birthday of my baby brother - 44; birthday of my BIL, oldest sister's husband.

The 16th was the anniversary of my oldest sister and her husband - 46 years; I was flower girl for their wedding!

Be good to those you love today - so much crap going on in the wider world, families are everything to hold dear!

The humidity is finally dropping here, it's feeling pretty good outside now. We may sit outside and have a glass of wine or two seem as the Jays are not doing to well. Down 7-2 in the bottom of the sixth.
