Good Morning everyone. It's going to be a real scorcher here today, last night, the LOW was 71...had a hard time sleeping, I wanted to keep the air on but it's not good for you so we hardly ever use it, but we needed to yesterday, it was so hot. Today will be a record breaking day, calling for a high of 91, but saying it could get even hotter. Normal January temps here are around 75 and the record for January 29th is 85 so we will be smashing that record! Definitely going off to the pool today, thank goodness it's going to be breezy. Abby, I was thinking of you last night hun, I hope you're ok.

Abby looking for a mattress you can also try the brick. Also if you have an easy home rental place they often have sales on some of their overstock or out of lease items customers brought back (in other words used lol but still nice stuff)

Even if money is tight, you should try and get a new mattress. I just couldn't bare to think that someone may bring bedbugs into their home because they purchased a used mattress. I'm sure they probably spray them, but apparently the only way to ensure that all eggs and bugs are dead, is that they have to be heated to a super high temp in an enclosed area and I doubt rental places would pay for that.

Abby sometimes Liquidation World has them on for cheap! Someone I work with got a queen pillow top last year for 244!!! It was a King mattress (name of brand)

Cuba is booked for BF and I! April 17 wooohoo will be celebrating my 30th there!

Hi, peeps!

Just finished putting supper in the slowcooker - nice to get it out of the way, even though it's a lot of chopping! Potatoes, onions, celery, carrots, shredded cabbage, with strips of pork loin - it's going to simmer in a garlicky broth, then I'll thicken it with leftover roast beef gravy. Mixing my meats, but it should taste great!

Icky weather out, storm blowing in, so I'm hibernating today!
